About Upward Dogology - Canine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Canine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CCBT) is a scientifically proven methodology for addressing behaviors common among adolescent and adopted dogs, and ones associated with aggression and anxiety. If you feel defeated or out of options, you are not alone, and it is not your fault! Explore CCBT on our website and podcast.

Our virtual program includes zoom and “live” (via phone, video etc) – our program is not generic, on-line material. Take advantage of our no-charge consultation (phone or zoom). 15% of the program fee goes directly to Doobert to help dogs in need.

About Billie Groom

Hello, I am Billie Groom, proud creator of UPWARD Dogology.

I developed the UPWARD Dogology formula from working with thousands of dogs over 3 decades. My clients include veterinarians, psychologists, animal experts, canine professionals, rescuers, fosters, adopters and first time dog peeps. The Humane Society of Toronto awarded me for my work with challenging dogs in 2002 and I continued to develop my methodology over the decades through hands-on application.

I am the expert in Canine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I work exclusively with dogs over the age of six months because this is when cognitive skills develop causing change in behaviors. This is an unheard of area of expertise because there is no other formula grounded in C.B.T. that effectively addresses behaviors associated with aggression, anxiety, rescued dogs, adolescent dogs and change in behaviors.
